ABOUT

Barber Street is a small subarea further down Ioco road that consists of detached homes, many with a view of the water. This is a quiet subarea, with easy access in to all amenities that is on the way to Anmore and White Pine Beach. There are also a number of walking trails nearby which will take you all the way around the Burrard Inlet in to Rocky Point Park where you can enjoy the marina, boardwalk, more restaurants, and Port Moody’s famous ‘Brewers Row’. (craft breweries)

Residents have easy access via a bus or a car in to Port Moody’s downtown core, where there are grocery stores, restaurants, bars, the city’s community centre, gym, and public library. Thus, Barber Street is a great mix of both quiet nature, and accessibility to anything and everything you need.

TRANSIT

There is a bus right off of Ioco and Barber Street that will take you in to Port Moody station and connect you to the Westcoast express and Skytrain station. Both will take you right in to Vancouver. The West coast is an express train so there are limited stops, whereas the skytrain has multiple stops along the way including but not limited to Burnaby, New Westminster, and Vancouver.  The majority of the homes in the area are within a very short walk to the nearest bus stop.

THINGS TO DO

Residents have Newport village for grocery stores, restaurants, hair studios, and shopping just right down Ioco street. Everything they need including the community centre/gym is within a 5 minute drive and there’s also a number of walking trails and beach on Ioco street, which will take you all the way around to Rocky Point park where you can enjoy the marina, boardwalk, restaurants, and the breweries.
