ABOUT

Lincoln Park is a neighbourhood on the North side of Port Coquitlam, which is home to parks, Minnekhada Middle School, commercial zones, and residential homes. It is nearby to Town Centre Park and Coquitlam Centre Mall, making it a quiet neighbourhood amongst the trees that is still close enough to urban centres.  There are busses nearby along David and parts of Pipeline, making it an area that is relatively easy to commute.

TRANSIT

The Westcoast express is an express bus in to Vancouver with limited stops that has pickup at Port Coquitlam Station. Althought there is no skytrain that runs through Port Coquitlam, the nearest skytrain is at Coquitlam Station and there are a variety of busses near Lincoln Parkes borders that will take you in to the transit hub. You can walk to Coast Meridian, and because it is a main road you’ll find busses taking you north and south throughout town. Prairie Avenue runs west to east through Lincoln Park, and will take you to Port Coquitlam station where you can also find busses that will take you directly in to Coquitlam station where the skytrain is.

THINGS TO DO

Coast Meridian is a road bordering Lincoln Park, and there a number of commercial areas which have restaurants, bars, pool billiards, and coffee shops. Because you are near the highway, you are within a 15 minute drive to Coquitlam centre shopping mall (Tri-Cities largest shopping mall).  Within a 5-10 minute drive you can enjoy nearby neighbourhood Riverwood’s shops like Costco, Save-on Foods, Walmart, Home depot, gas stations, and restaurants. For outdoor lovers, there are a number of walking trails to enjoy all within a 5 minute drive, evergreen park, and the Minnekhada hiking trail.
