Mary Hill Port Coquitlam is a neighbourhood bordering Citadel, Lower Mary Hill, and Central Port Coquitlam. It is a family-oriented neighbourhood with many detached homes sitting on large, flat lots.

ABOUT

Mary Hill is a larger subarea in south Port Coquitlam that consists mostly of detached homes, and has some townhomes on the northern side. The majority of the lots are larger, flat lots with 2 storey homes. The neighbourhood is quiet, while still being close enough to the business of downtown Port Coquitlam and the highway for easy access to neighbouring cities.

TRANSIT

The Westcoast express is an express train with limited stops that has a pickup at Port Coquitlam Station. While the new Everygreen Skytrain extension that connects the Tri-Cities to various locations leading to Metro Vancouver does not pass through Port Coquitlam, the nearest skytrain station to Mary Hill is at Coquitlam Station. There are busses that direct residents to Coquitlam station; however, if you are planning on commuting regularly via skytrain we advise driving your car Coquitlam station and parking there for the day. Western Drive is the main road through Mary Hill, and has a bus running directly to Port Coquitlam Station in the heart of downtown Port Coquitlam. From there, you can take a second bus in to Coquitlam station where the skytrain is for direct access in to Vancouver.

THINGS TO DO

Depending on what side of Mary Hill you’re in, you are either in the heart of or very nearby the downtown Port Coquitlam strip on Shaughnessy street, which has grocery stores, coffee shops, restaurants, barbers, liquor stores, and bars galore. For outdoor lovers, Mary Hill is also very nearby a number of walking trails, and is only a 5-10 minute drive from Gates Park where you can enjoy outdoor playgrounds, walking, and cycling trails.  Mary Hill is also an area that has very easy access to Mary Hill Bypass, which connects you directly with the freeway and will take you in to New Westminster, Burnaby, and Vancouver to enjoy urban big city life!
