River Springs Coquitlam is a quiet residential neighbourhood on the East side of the city, which borders New Horizons and Burke Mountain. Many of the homes are nestled amongst the trees and able to enjoy Coquitlam River’s hiking and walking trails.

ABOUT

River Springs is on the northeast side of Coquitlam in between New Horizons, Hockaday, & Burke Mountain. It is an area that has a number of homes on the greenbelt, as it is surrounded by Coquitlam River Park and borders the Coquitlam River on the west side. The main road that runs through River Springs, Shaughnessy St, will take you all the way in to the heart of Port Coquitlam.

The neighbourhood has its own community centre and it’s not far from the shopping, transit, cultural and  recreational amenities of Coquitlam’s Town Centre area, or Downtown Port Coquitlam.

TRANSIT

River Springs Coquitlam Transit

The skytrain at douglas college station is just about 3km away, with bus stops running east/west along David (north side of River Springs) and north/south along Shaughnessy street. Although there are not a large number of busses going through the neighbourhood (given, it is a smaller subarea), they are direct and will take you right in to Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam.

You’re within a 5-10 minute drive to the Costco, Coquitlam centre mall, save-on foods, 7-11, shoppers drug mart, and many other grocery/shopping stores. It holds a number of outdoor places to go, such as walking trails and parks for animal & outdoor lovers! You’re close enough to everything you need, but still get to enjoy the quietness of the trees and the river.

You’re within walking distance or short drive to Coquitlam’s town centre park, which has a small man-made lake, walking trails, tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, football/soccer fields, and a track so if you’re an outdoorsy person this area is great for you!
