College Park Port Moody is an established area in Pomo at the bottom of Burnaby Mountain. It has easy access to Barnet Highway and all amenities in the heart of the city.

ABOUT

College Park is on the North West side of Port Moody and is one of the bordering subareas to Burnaby. Its borders stretch to Barnet Highway, which has direct access in to Burnaby and Vancouver. This area has a good transit score, as there are a number of busses that run through Port Moody to Coquitlam and Burnaby. The Ioco skytrain station is also nearby which will take residents in to Metro Vancouver. College Park is home to marinas and forest areas, and many of the homes boast beautiful views of the water. There are a variety of styles of homes here, ranging from condos to towhouses to detached single family homes which are also nearby to a number of commercial areas which host restaurants, shopping, breweries, and fitness centres.

TRANSIT

College Park Port Moody Transit

Skytrain at Burquitlam station or the Port Moody station are your best resources for rapid transit, with options between the Westcoast Express and the skytrain that will take you in to Metro Vancouver.  There is a bus along Barnet Highway that runs in to Coquitlam station as well as in to Vancouver’s gastown area. There are busses running through the neighbourhood as well as a bus on Clarke Road that will take residents in to Coquitlam station or Lougheed station. This area has a pretty good transit score.

College Park Port Moody Neighbourhood Amenities

The borders of College Park stretch to Barnet Highway, which has direct access in to Burnaby and Vancouver so that residents can enjoy all the restaurant and activity perks of both cities. It’s nearby marinas for boat lovers, Rocky Point Park, as well as a variety of walking and hiking trails for the outdoorsy. Rocky Point Park has a community playground, walking trails all around the Burrard Inlet, a boat launch, swimming pool, outdoor spray park, skate park, the Boathouse Restaurant and Rocky Point Ice Cream. Across the street from the Park is Port Moody’s famous ‘Brewers Row’ which features four local craft breweries.

In terms of shopping, there are various shops near College Park off of St. Johns Street, Clarke Road, and Ioco Road. Thrifty Foods and IGA are both nearby for grocery shopping as well. College Park is just about central between two malls, Lougheed Mall and Coquitlam Centre Mall for any retail stores.
