Meadowbrook Coquitlam is a neighbourhood on the far Eastern side of Coquitlam bordering Westwood Street and Lougheed Highway. It is close to a variety of amenities, such as Superstore, BC Liquor Store, Coquitlam Centre Mall, and Coquitlam Skytrain Station.

ABOUT

Meadowbrook is a small neighbourhood on the east end of Coquitlam that has both townhomes and detached homes. The majority of homes offers little to no slope, and all have very easy access to the highway for commuting. Convenience is a huge draw for residents of Meadowbrook, with restaurants, Coquitlam Centre mall, Superstore, BC Liquor store, and bars all within a 5 minute drive or less. The perk of this neighbourhood is it is affordable, while still remaining close to everything that you would need.

TRANSIT

Meadowbrook is one of the closest areas to Coquitlam station, the local skytrain and bus station hub. This new Skytrain Extension is labelled the Evergreen Line, which connects the Tri-Cities to Burnaby, New Westminster, Surrey, and various locations throughout Metro Vancouver via rapid transit. Busses also run down Dewdney Trunk Road (which will take you directly to the skytrain) as well as Westwood Street. The majority of homes within Meadowbrook are within walking distance to a bus stop.

THINGS TO DO

Convenience is a huge draw for residents of Meadowbrook, with restaurants, Coquitlam Centre mall, Superstore, BC Liquor store, and bars all within a 5 minute drive or less. With such easy access to the highway, you can also venture out to neighbouring cities such as Burnaby, New Westminster, or if you’re interested in going further, Vancouver. As it is on the east side of Coquitlam, residents of Meadowbrook are also able to enjoy all of the perks of Port Coquitlam and their businesses as well. The main area that most Meadowbrook residents visit in Port Coquitlam is the Shaughnessy strip, where there are a number of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, grocery stores, and independent businesses. In the area is also Gates Park, which runs along the Coquitlam River and features an outdoor playground, walking and biking trails, and sports fields.
