Harbour Chines Coquitlam is a neighbourhood on the North side of the city bordering Port Moody’s St. John’s Street. The homes are typically large and on expansive lots, many of which are on the slope and thus offer beautiful view of the Northern mountains and the Burrard Inlet.

Harbour Chines is on the northwest side of Coquitlam and consists of all detached homes. Como Lake is the main road east to west of harbour Chines, and it works as your easiest access to Lougheed Station (Burnaby) and Coquitlam Station (Coquitlam), and all the way through to the Gaglardi exit to the freeway for access in to Vancouver. When heading North, the main road is Gatensbury which will take you directly in to the heart of Port Moody! Because this neighbourhood borders Port Moody but is still a part of Coquitlam’s boundaries, residents are able to enjoy the best of both cities. The majority of homes are on flat large lots, until you move further down Gatensbury Road. Those homes are more inclined to be on a slope; however, a number of them will be on the greenbelt for increased privacy.
