Belcarra is a secluded neighbourhood on the Northern side of Port Moody, where residents enjoy large homes – many on acreage – that often boast seaside views of Indian Arm and Bedwell Bay. A number of the homes are waterfront, and are perched on the cliffs and bluffs rising up from the bay. Belcarra is named after its regional park, where a number of residents and visitors alike enjoy the hiking trails, picnic areas, waterfront playground, and pier. The park also offers canoe and kayak rentals for the adventurous.
While residents are able to enjoy the seclusiveness of the area, Newport Village and Port Moody Centre are within driving distance. At the hub of Port Moody there are various restaurants, grocery stores, bars, a community centre with a gym, a public library, and a number of busses that will take you through multiple routes in to surrounding cities.
