Coquitlam East is a large subarea of detached and attached homes, which border parts of Lougheed Highway, Mundy Park, and Colony Farms. It is home to a number of parks, some of which include Hickey Park & Tennis Courts, as well as Mundy Park which is a 435 acre forested oasis that offers walking trails, sports fields, playgrounds, and much more. These homes have easy access to the highway by car, and are also serviced by a number of busses making it easy to commute to the nearest skytrain stations.

COQUITLAM THINGS TO DO

Coquitlam East has its own local grocery & business complex, which includes a Save-On Foods, Starbucks, Esso gas station, and various restaurants to service its residents. Depending on where in the subarea you’re located (keep in mind it is large), you are anywhere between 5 and 10 minutes away from Coquitlam Centre mall, the Tri-Cities largest shopping centre. With such easy access to the highway from Coquitlam East, it’s also a short drive to Coquitlam’s movie theatre as well!

If you’re more of an outdoor person, Mundy Park is a great place to enjoy the walking trails, dog park, playground, and sports fields. Also nearby, Colony Farms has a multitude of walking trails through meadows and marshes with beautiful view of the mountains.

COQUITLAM EAST TRANSIT


Coquitlam East is an area with a variety of busses running through the main roads and side streets. The busiest areas for bus transit are Como Lake Ave, Mariner Way, Chilko Drive, Austin Avenue, and Mundy Road nearby.

There is no skytrain running directly through Coquitlam East so this area has limited skytrain service. However, with that being said the majority of these busses will take you directly to a skytrain either at Braid Station, Lougheed Station, or Coquitlam Station.
