Mountain Meadows Port Moody is a small residential neighbourhood on the Eastern side of the city with easy access to amenities and school. Because it is also bordering Coquitlam, this subarea is able to enjoy the perks of both cities.

Canyon Springs is a neighbourhood filled with primarily with detached homes in the lower part of North Coquitlam. It consists of some townhomes and condominiums. The best part about Canyon Springs is its easy access to everything.  It is extremely close to the mall, restaurants, and coffee joints, and if that isn’t enough it also has a number of main busses that can take you directly to Lougheed or Coquitlam Station, which in turn will put you right on a skytrain downtown. The accessibility of living in this subarea is very high. Luckily, it’s still far enough away from the mall that you’re not right in the middle of all the mayhem. In fact, you’re just north of it. What’s more, Walton Elementary School is also one of the first schools in the Tri-Cities to implement a Mandarin immersion program, making this elementary highly sought after.
