Ranch Park Coquitlam is a large family oriented neighbourhood on the East side of the city, bordering Coquitlam East and Chineside. It is a residential area of detached homes, many of sweeping views of Mount Baker and out to Golden Ears.

Ranch Park is a large subarea of detached homes more on the east side of Coquitlam, with parts bordering Port Moody. A number of the homes back on to the greenbelt, and the area is home to the Pinnacle Creek Ravine. These homes often offer sweeping views of Mount Baker and Golden Ears, and are often situated on large lots. There are a number of schools in the area, including Dr. Charles Best Secondary – which offers a French Immersion Program – and Ranch Park Elementary, making this a family-oriented neighbourhood.
Because this is an area with schools, the transit in this area is fairly developed. The main roads for busses are Mariner as well as Como Lake, which then turns in to Spuraway and Ranch Park Avenue. Both of these bus routes flow through to Lougheed Station and Coquitlam Station, which then connect to the Evergreen Skytrain Line servicing to Metro Vancouver.
